Dear Parents and Guardians,

Today the Ministry of Education advised school boards across Ontario that there is no intention to move to remote learning following the Easter holidays and April break. Students currently attending in-person school will continue to attend classes for the four days next week from April 6-9, 2021.

The Spring Break for all students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 in both virtual and face to face learning is still scheduled to take place as planned from April 12 – 16, 2021.

While we cannot predict what the future will hold, the Ministry of Education has advised that they are planning for schools to re-open and for students to return to in-person learning on Monday, April 19, 2021 following the break.

As a reminder, please ensure that you have completed the province’s COVID-19 school screening tool for your child prior to attending school. Please contact your school’s office if you have questions or need assistance.

Yours in Faith,

Tracy Barill,
Director of Education
